    Description

AACY (American Association of Caregiving Youth) is seeking caring, dependable adults to become mentors for middle and high school students who help care for a chronically ill, disabled, or aging family member at home.

As a mentor, you can provide encouragement, guidance, and positive support to a young person facing responsibilities beyond their years. Just a few hours a month can make a meaningful difference in a student's confidence, well-being, and future success.

We are currently seeking mentors throughout Central and Western Palm Beach County, including Loxahatchee, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth, Greenacres, Boynton Beach, and West Palm Beach.

No prior mentoring experience is required. AACY provides training, support, and resources to help mentors build successful relationships with their mentees.

    Mentor Requirements:

    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • Complete an application and screening process
    • Pass a Level II background check
    • Attend mentor training
    • Commit to spending at least 4 hours per month with a mentee

Help us ensure that no caregiving youth has to navigate their journey alone. Become a mentor and make a lasting impact in a young person's life.
