    Description

Microsoft 365 / Power Platform & Integration Volunteer — Army Pink Survivor Ride Program

    Location: Remote / Flexible

    Time Commitment: Flexible, project-based; estimated 5–10 hours/week

    Overview:

Army Pink provides safe, advocate-controlled transportation for survivors of domestic violence, paired with supportive messaging. We’re building a secure, compliant, near-real-time ride system using Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Twilio, and middleware to orchestrate rides, messaging, and reporting. This role offers volunteers the chance to directly support survivors by helping build the technical backbone of our program.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Assist in designing, configuring, and building the Microsoft 365 operational environment, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform automation.
    • Support middleware integration to process ride events from Lyft Concierge into Salesforce and trigger conditional messaging via Twilio.
    • Help implement secure advocate and partner access, including MFA, role-based permissions, and logging.
    • Collaborate on workflow automation, including ride booking, language-specific messaging, and follow-up wellness communications.
    • Work closely with project leads to ensure compliance with VAWA regulations and strict privacy standards.
    • Provide input on the organization of the Microsoft environment to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Azure AD / Entra ID).
    • Understanding of workflow automation using Power Automate or Logic Apps.
    • Experience with Salesforce (objects, workflows, reporting) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with API integrations, event handling, and middleware concepts.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to collaborate remotely.
    • Commitment to data privacy, security, and survivor-centered design.

    Impact:

Your work will help survivors of domestic violence access safe, reliable transportation paired with supportive, real-time messaging, ensuring privacy, security, and compliance with federal regulations. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a life-changing program while gaining experience in Microsoft 365 system integration and nonprofit technology.
