    Description

Video Editor — Help Bring Survivor Stories to Life

About Army Pink & Freedom Rides:

Army Pink provides safe, discreet transportation for domestic violence survivors escaping dangerous situations. Supported by scalable infrastructure, corporate partners, and a community of dedicated volunteers, we are building reliable pathways out of crisis and into safe, sustained exits.

    Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, empathetic, and detail-oriented Video Editor to take ownership of editing and developing core video content for our YouTube channel, social campaigns, and community communications. Army Pink has a significant archive of recorded footage - including deeply personal, powerful interviews with survivors, that must be handled with great care, technical precision, and compelling narrative flow.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end post-production process: reviewing raw recordings, cutting engaging narratives, balancing audio, and shaping visual pacing to spread awareness, build donor support, and honor the voices of the survivors we serve.

    • Perform audio cleanup, balancing, color correction, and seamless visual transitions.
    • Incorporate title cards, subtitles/captions, and Army Pink visual branding assets according to guidelines.
    • Maintain careful discretion and ethical standards when handling sensitive, confidential survivor interview footage.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated portfolio or work samples showing proficiency in long-form storytelling, interview editing, or documentary-style cuts.
    • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
    • Strong ear for audio clarity, pacing, and visual narrative structure.
    • High sensitivity and discretion regarding trauma-informed, confidential survivor media.
    • Must complete the Army Pink Volunteer & Confidentiality Agreement prior to receiving video files.
