    Description

    Summer Day Shelter Volunteer

    Our most common position, the Day Shelter Volunteer is a flexible position that supports staff with daily operations around the Day Shelter.

    Duties include:

    • Washing dishes
    • Sanitizing tables and chairs
    • Sanitizing counters and equipment
    • Serving meals
    • Distributing food
    • Sweeping and mopping
    • Receiving and sorting donations
    • Scheduling the shower and laundry
    • Assisting with special events, projects, & giveaways

    This opportunity is for volunteers who are aged 18 and over.

    Shifts are flexible, Sunday – Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm, one or more days per week for a two to four-hour shift, with a minimum two-month commitment.
