    Description

    1. Greet and create a positive, caring environment for patients, families and visitors who come to the clinic.
    2. Offer a warm and welcoming environment for all who enter the department by socializing and engaging with patients and their families.
    3. Provide transport or wheelchair assistance as directed by the staff.
    4. Assist with escorting patients to assigned rooms and locations.
    5. Restock supplies, supply closets and assist with inventory and par levels.
    6. Provide clerical duties to include filing, copying, organizing, etc.
    7. Clean surfaces of tables and desktops as well as chairs and other public surfaces.
    8. Provide patient with warm blanket as necessary.
    9. In cases of emergency, stay out of the way and assist with helping visitors stay clear of the staff.
    10. Refer any patient or other complaints to a staff person.
    11. Contact security if there is ever a situation that is uncomfortable, questionable, or hostile.
