Description
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the LA Streetlight Resource Fair on Saturday, October 10, 2026 a welcoming, organized, and engaging community event.
We're bringing resources to the East Side of Los Angeles, with a special focus on teens, Transitional Age Youth (TAY), and homeless services. The Resource Fair will bring together youth-serving and community organizations including Olive Crest, St. Joseph’s, Heaven Los Angeles, Chosen Hearts, Inspire2Together, and Jesse’s Place, along with resources such as free portable phone chargers, data plans, and more.
Volunteers will help with event setup, registration and check-in, welcoming attendees, resource and giveaway distribution, supporting participating organizations, youth activities, and cleanup.
Volunteers must be 16 or older, dependable, respectful, and comfortable engaging with community members. No previous volunteer experience is required. Volunteers ages 16–17 must have parent/guardian consent.

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
Please submit your interest through Idealist. After expressing interest, volunteers will be asked to complete our Volunteer Registration Jotform, which includes availability, preferred volunteer roles, emergency contact information, release of liability, and media consent.
Volunteers ages 16–17 will also need parent/guardian consent before participating. Confirmed volunteers will receive additional event-day instructions before the Resource Fair.
