Gift Shop Volunteer

At the Old Baldy Foundation, we are dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Old Baldy Lighthouse and sharing its story with visitors from near and far. Our mission is supported by a vibrant community of volunteers who play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor with a passion for history and community service, we welcome your involvement!

As a volunteer in our gift shop, you will operate the cash register, assist our visitors and customers, and help with stocking shelves. We ask that our gift shop volunteers commit to 1-2 shifts per month, as this role requires some training to use the register. Each shift is 3 hours long.

Additionally, each prospective gift shop volunteer is required to interview by phone, Zoom, or in-person, and there is also a required orientation and training prior to your first shift.
