    Description

Outreach & Community Partnerships Partner — Work Directly With the Executive Director

Legacy Paws Rescue is looking for a hands-on Outreach & Community Partnerships Partner to work directly with our Executive Director to build relationships that bring our mission into the community and turn connections into real opportunities. This is a collaborative role for someone who enjoys meeting people, opening doors, developing partnerships, and following through—not just making a list of potential contacts and handing it over.

We're building a different kind of rescue, one focused on prevention, education, and helping dogs and people stay together whenever possible. We want to connect with businesses, schools, community groups, Jeep clubs, breweries, and other organizations that believe in making a difference and might want to build something with us.

You'll collaborate with the ED to identify potential partners, make introductions, start conversations, develop mutually beneficial opportunities, coordinate outreach efforts, and nurture relationships beyond the first hello. That could mean finding a business to host a creative fundraiser, connecting with a school for educational programs, or bringing community groups together around a shared purpose.

We're looking for a confident, resourceful people-person who can communicate authentically, recognize opportunities, build relationships, and turn conversations into action. You don't have to be a professional salesperson. You do need to be willing to reach out, hear no sometimes, try another door, and keep going.

If you believe community is something we build together—not something we simply ask for help from—we'd love to connect.
