Role Summary:
The Volunteer Google Ads Professional will support the development, execution, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns to promote climate and sustainability initiatives. This role focuses on leveraging keyword research, SEO insights, and paid search strategies to drive targeted traffic, increase visibility, and maximize engagement. The position ensures that our digital advertising efforts are effective, data-driven, and aligned with our mission to expand reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact search opportunities.
- Optimize ad copy, bidding strategies, and targeting to improve performance and ROI.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including CTR, CPC, and conversions.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness and landing page performance.
- Perform A/B testing on ads and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with program and partnerships teams to align advertising strategies with project goals.
Requirements:
- Background in marketing, digital advertising, or a related field.
- Experience managing Google Ads campaigns and keyword optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and related tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SEO, search engine marketing (SEM), and content optimization.
- Familiarity with performance tracking tools and campaign analytics.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience working on nonprofit, environmental, or impact-driven projects.
