    Job Title: Web Developer/Designer /Wordpress -Intern (CPT/OPT Eligible)

    Department: Web Development & IT

    Organization: WoMen of Connections Ministry (WOC Ministry)

    Location: Remote/ Hybrid

    Internship Type: Unpaid | CPT/OPT Eligible

    Start Date: Rolling (Spring/Summer preferred)

    Time Commitment: 12 - 20 hours/week

    About Us: WoMen of Connections Ministry is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and building stronger community connections. We support both international and native-born citizens, empowering people of all ages to lead prosperous lives through meaningful community outreach and connections.

    We are currently seeking a skilled WordPress Web Developer/Designer Intern to join our Web Development & IT team to build and maintain websites that advance our organizational mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor page builder
    • Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and prioritize development needs
    • Perform regular website updates, content management, and file backups
    • Edit and create website content while directing team members in content production
    • Test and debug code to ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems
    • Analyze technical requirements and determine user needs for optimal functionality
    • Stay current with latest web development practices and WordPress updates

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Currently a junior/senior or graduate student in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field, OR high school graduate with 3+ years professional experience
    • Strong working knowledge of WordPress and Elementor site builder
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
    • Understanding of open source resources and nonprofit integration
    • Experience building complete WordPress websites preferred
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity management is a plus
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Must align with WoMen of Connections Ministry's mission and vision
