Core Volunteers commit to 1 four-hour shift (or more) per week. We are looking for a volunteers to commit to Saturday and/or Sunday, 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm.

Description
š Position Overview
As a Dock Assistant, youāll be the friendly face that welcomes donors and helps process incoming donations. This role is essential to keeping the ReStore running smoothly and ensuring donated items are ready for resale to support Habitatās mission. We have a need in our Aurora ReStore.
š§ Responsibilities
- Greet and assist donors dropping off items
- Unload donations safely and efficiently
- Sort, clean, and prepare items for pricing and display
- Communicate with ReStore staff about donation quality and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and shoppers
- Additional duties as assigned

- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, moving items)
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Interest in retail, sustainability, or community service
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
