    Organization Overview

    Spectrum Counseling & Mental Wellness is a nonprofit psychotherapy clinic dedicated to providing accessible, affirming mental health services to the Portland community, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities.

    Role Description

    We are seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to provide financial oversight and support to our Board of Directors. This role focuses on review and governance, rather than day-to-day bookkeeping.

    Responsibilities

    • Attend quarterly Board Meetings and special meetings
    • Assist the board in understanding financial health and risks
    • Review monthly financial reports
    • Support financial transparency and basic controls
    • Assist in organizing and running fundraising events

    Requirements

    • Background or comfort with finance, accounting, or budgeting
    • Reliability and discretion
    • Interest in nonprofit governance
