Description
We are seeking a reliable and organized volunteer bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records for our animal farm sanctuary.
Responsibilities
- Track income, donations, and expenses
- Organize receipts and financial records
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
- Assist with basic financial reporting and budgeting
- Coordinate with management and/or our accountant as needed
Requirements
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic accounting software
- Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with nonprofits is a plus
