Our mobile food services coordinator will provide initial training after your in-person volunteer orientation is completed.
Description
Help make our services more accessible by transporting food directly to homes where transportation can be a barrier! Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun!
Available Opportunities:
- Home Deliveries: Deliver groceries directly to your those with transportation barriers.
- Food Courier: Assist with food rescue by picking up food donations at local grocery stores.
- Mobile Site Driver: Facilitate delivery and/or distribution of bulk produce to Site Partners.
VEAP is open Monday - Thursday from 8 - 5 pm & Fridays 8 - 12pm. Shifts are on-site and are typically 1-3 hours in length. Every Thursday an evening shift is available for delivery drivers. All adult volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation as well as a criminal background check prior to volunteering.
