    Description

Social Media Storytellers (one platform each)

    The opportunity

When Kyra’s blue ball got left behind at an Airbnb, I didn’t figure it out right away. All I knew was that my girl was panicking in the back seat and nothing I did would settle her. Forty-five minutes down the road, it hit me. I turned that car around. That one moment is a whole story, and it looks different depending on who’s telling it. Kyra would tell you about losing the only thing that made a strange place feel safe. I’d tell you about the guilt of not seeing it sooner. That ball has been through some things. And a kid hearing it might learn, for the first time, that dogs have feelings as big as theirs. That’s how we want to tell every story at Legacy Paws: one story, told from every end of the leash. We’re building a team of storytellers where each person owns one platform, completely. You’d have your own space, your own audience, and the freedom to make it yours, with a Social Media Director who brings everyone together so all of our stories line up.

    The deliverable

Choose one platform and make it yours. Open seats include Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Patreon, our newsletter, email campaigns, and our website stories and blog. Each time we have a story, program, or fundraiser, our Social Media Director gives it to the whole team, and you tell it the way your platform and your audience need to hear it. Depending on the story, that could be from the dog’s eyes, the person’s heart, the object that holds the memory, or the way a kid would understand it. You’d post on a regular schedule, answer comments and messages like a real person, and follow our Content Voice Guide so everything still sounds like us. Each month, you’d send the Director a few simple numbers showing what landed and what didn’t. We’re not looking for polished. We’re looking for real, because real is what connects people to these dogs.
