    Description

    WEBSITE DEVELOPER

Legacy Paws Rescue is a veteran-owned 501(c)(3) dog rescue and sanctuary in Catawba, NC, and we are seeking one Website Developer or Designer to help us make our website work as hard as the mission behind it. Our current site exists but does not clearly communicate what we do, make it easy for adopters to find available dogs, guide donors to give, or tell our story in a way that moves people to act. Responsibilities include auditing the current site, identifying the highest impact improvements, integrating our Petfinder listings, improving donation pathways, and either making changes directly or clearly guiding us through making them ourselves. We also have a growing product line — Magical Mutts educational kits for children — that needs a cleaner path to purchase. The ideal volunteer has experience in web design or development and is comfortable working with a small nonprofit on an existing site rather than a ground-up rebuild. Experience with Petfinder integration, nonprofit donation platforms, or basic e-commerce is a strong plus. We will provide all content, photos, and copy needed and will be responsive and prepared at every step.
