Education & Community Programs Partner — Work Directly With the Executive Director
Details
Description
Legacy Paws Rescue is looking for an Education & Community Programs Partner to work directly with our Executive Director to develop and bring to life programs that help people better understand dogs, strengthen the bond between dogs and humans, and prevent avoidable surrenders. This is a hands-on collaboration focused on turning ideas into real programs, building community relationships, and making things happen—not simply writing proposals and handing them back.
We're building a different approach to rescue, one that recognizes that helping dogs often starts with helping the people who love them. From dog behavior and communication to family education and community enrichment, we want to create opportunities for people to learn, connect, and build stronger relationships with their dogs.
You'll collaborate with the ED to develop program ideas, identify community needs, build partnerships with schools and local organizations, coordinate educational activities and events, and help turn promising ideas into programs people can actually participate in. You'll also help evaluate what's working, gather feedback, and improve programs as we grow.
We're looking for a creative, community-minded doer who can connect with people, build relationships, solve problems, and follow through. You don't need to have every answer. You do need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, work through the messy middle, and help build something that matters.
If you believe education can prevent heartbreak, stronger human-dog relationships can change lives, and communities can do better when they work together, we'd love to connect.
