    Description

Digital Content & Communications Partner — Work Directly With the Executive Director

Legacy Paws Rescue is looking for a hands-on Digital Content & Communications Partner to work directly with our Executive Director to turn our stories, ideas, and mission into content that reaches people, builds connection, and inspires action. This is a collaborative role for someone who can write, create, publish, and follow through—not just recommend what we should do.

We're building a different kind of rescue, focused on prevention, education, and supporting both ends of the leash. We want our digital presence to do more than share updates. We want people to find help, learn something new, connect with our dogs and their stories, and discover ways to get involved.

You'll collaborate with the ED to keep our website current, write and publish blog posts, develop and send email campaigns, and create regular newsletters. You'll help turn real-life rescue moments, educational ideas, program updates, and fundraising needs into content that feels like us: honest, human, occasionally messy, and worth paying attention to. You'll also help organize a content schedule, coordinate links and calls to action, and make sure each piece has a purpose and gets followed through.

We're looking for a strong writer, creative thinker, and organized doer who can manage details, work independently, and collaborate without needing every step spelled out. Experience with website content management, email marketing, newsletters, or blogging is valuable. Most importantly, we need someone who can take an idea from conversation to finished work.

If you believe good communication can change how people see dogs, help families find support, and bring the right people into a mission, we'd love to build something meaningful with you.
