    Volunteer Director of Grants

    Organization: Army Pink – Pathway to Freedom

    Location: Remote

    Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per week

    About Army Pink

    Army Pink is a survivor-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence access safe transportation and supportive resources through our Pathway to Freedom initiative.

    We are seeking an experienced grant professional to serve as our Volunteer Director of Grants. This individual will lead the development of our volunteer grants department, provide oversight to grant researchers and grant writers, and help establish the systems needed to build a sustainable funding pipeline.

    This is an initial leadership engagement focused on building and organizing the grants department. There may be opportunities for continued involvement based on mutual interest and organizational needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the volunteer grants team
    • Coordinate grant researchers and grant writers
    • Review and prioritize grant opportunities
    • Assign opportunities to writers and monitor progress
    • Review and edit grant proposals and applications
    • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to volunteer team members
    • Develop grant workflows, processes, and tracking systems
    • Work closely with organizational leadership on funding strategy
    • Help build and maintain a strong grant pipeline

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience managing a grants program, grants department, or grant team
    • Strong grant writing, editing, and review experience
    • Familiarity with foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Experience mentoring staff, volunteers, or grant writers
    • Passion for supporting survivor-led organizations and community impact initiatives
