The Donovan’s Venom is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on creating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to continually expand our reach and enrich the lives of those we serve.

We’re looking for a QA Engineer & Testing Administrator to join our growing team and support the Chief Technology Officer in ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of our technology solutions and digital platform.

    What you’ll do:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios.
    • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
    • Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
    • Coordinate testing activities across development, technology, and business teams.
    • Maintain testing documentation and provide clear reporting on testing progress, defects, risks, and results.
    • Support Beta and future launch readiness by validating critical features and user experiences.
    • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and establish clear acceptance criteria.
    • Assist with establishing standardized QA processes, testing methodologies, and quality best practices.
    • Identify quality risks and communicate issues that could impact releases or launch readiness.
    • Support continuous improvement of the organization’s testing and quality assurance processes.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience with software quality assurance, software testing, or a related technical field.
    • Understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
    • Experience creating and executing test cases and documenting and tracking defects.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
    • Experience with testing, project management, or defect-management tools is preferred.
    • Experience with automated testing is a plus.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and remote environment.
    • Experience supporting nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
