    Description

    Purpose of the Position:

Project C.U.R.E.'s ability to provide low-resource communities with tested biomedical device donations is dependent on relationships (especially with people and organizations who already have the technical skills needed), and systems which support our biomedical testers and make it as easy as possible to test and complete devices.

This role is focused on getting biomedical testing volunteers, and making their time as enjoyable and smooth as possible so they choose to come back. It provides support to the Director of Biomedical Technology in building and maintaining relationships with skilled parties, developing new organization systems and improving the systems we already have.

It may include tasks such as:

    • Researching, inputting and maintaining information about biomedical technical staff and organizations we do or would like to partner with, around each of our warehouses. (R/OS)
    • Initial outreach to those people/organizations, organizing Teams meetings. (R/OS)
    • Developing/trialing systems, processes and documents to make finding biomedical accessories/consumables faster and easier. (OS)
    • Packing and shipping of items required at other Project C.U.R.E. warehouses. (OS)
    • Drafting internal testing processes and checksheets for devices (R/OS).

(R/OS): Can be done either Remotely, or On-Site at Houston warehouse.

(OS): Some attendance required On-Site at Houston warehouse
