Role Summary:
The Grantwriter will research, draft, and submit compelling grant proposals to help expand the organization’s impact. This role ensures proposals are aligned with organizational goals, submitted on time, and reflect the mission of Delta Rising Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research potential funding opportunities and grantmakers.
- Draft, review, and submit grant proposals.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data and program details.
- Maintain accurate records of submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Assist with grant reporting and updates to funders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably for nonprofits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with nonprofit funding structures and grant reporting.
- Experience with fundraising databases and CRM tools.
