    Role Summary:

    The Grant Research / Development Associate will identify and evaluate funding opportunities aligned with Delta Rising Foundation’s mission and programs. This role supports leadership and grant teams by building a strong pipeline of grants, conducting research, and matching opportunities to ongoing projects and strategic priorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities aligned with organizational focus areas.
    • Track and organize funding opportunities, deadlines, and requirements.
    • Match grant opportunities to internal programs and initiatives.
    • Support the development team with grant prospecting and pipeline building.
    • Assist in preparing summaries, briefs, and insights on funding opportunities.
    • Collaborate with leadership and grant writers to prioritize opportunities.
    • Monitor trends in nonprofit funding, climate initiatives, and sustainability sectors.

    Requirements:

    • Strong research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to identify and evaluate funding opportunities.
    • Clear written communication and summarization skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in grant research, nonprofit development, or fundraising.
    • Familiarity with grant databases and research tools.
    • Interest or background in climate, sustainability, or social impact work.
