Volunteer Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Expert

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SEO expert to optimize our website, improve search engine rankings, and drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate will have experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations and can implement SEO strategies that support our programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and page structure.
• Ensure on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
• Work with the web/WordPress team to implement SEO recommendations.
• Track website performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
• Provide regular reporting on SEO progress and opportunities

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO expert or similar role
• Familiarity with WordPress and website management
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven websites (preferred)

• Improved website search rankings and organic traffic
• SEO audit and recommendations implemented
• Regular SEO performance reports
