We’re celebrating all the positive action happening around the world as part of Idealist Days—thank you for being part of it. Because of you, this movement continues to grow in every direction and reminds us moving from intention to action is easier with a community of support.

Ami Dar and the Idealist community from New York participated in Idealist Day 7/7 with a Zoom call to connect people around the world through positive action 💻

Trecia from Illinois held a Zumba dance class and shared, “the newcomers really enjoyed themselves and were vocal about coming back!” 🕺

Rosemary from Kenya organized a feeding program for families experiencing homelessness, reaching 100 children and adults 🍏

“It reminded me that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. It was a humbling and fulfilling experience, and it strengthened my commitment to serving the community.”

The Idealist Days Burundi LinkedIn Group successfully hosted the fourth straight month of Idealist Days activations, bringing together changemakers, founders, nonprofit leaders, volunteers, students, and community members who share one goal: creating positive change in Burundi 🌱

“Every meetup reminds us that meaningful impact starts with people who are willing to listen, share, collaborate, and take action together. Although the Idealist community in #Burundi is still growing, each conversation, each new connection, and each participant strengthens this movement.”

Lisa from Roseville, CA sang to memory care residents at a local assisted living facility 🎤

“It was touching and so uplifting for everyone involved! The Idealists of Roseville loved every minute of today and we were asked to come back in about five weeks to do it all over again!”

Siggi and Linda from Cambridge, NY volunteered with 8 seniors and 8 idealists at an assisted living facility to play games and spend time with residents 🃏

Salsabila from Indonesia brought six people together to explore how small acts of generosity, collaboration, and innovation can help connect Indonesia’s underserved communities to learning opportunities 🎓

On Zoom, Dr. Taunya L. curated a Growth Circle Collective designed for women to encourage restoration, activation, and transformation ✨

Alex from Richmond, Virginia volunteered at Westover Hills Elementary School to clean up the local garden, and invited folks from Reddit to join 🌱

Florent from Burkina Faso hosted a community gathering at the "Main du Monde" farm of the Napam Beogo association 🪿

Joseph from Ghana continued to invite people to participate in a cocoa growing initiative and learn about sustainable agriculture 🚜

Sarah from Nigeria held a virtual talk focused on the effects of stress on mental and physical health⚕️

“Overall, the experience has been very good. I have learned that community engagement requires consistency and persistence. Although some of the people I started with have become less active and their participation has reduced over time, I will not allow that to discourage me. Instead, I will continue reaching out to more people and look for new ways to engage individuals who are willing to contribute and make a positive impact in the community.”

The citizen collective Alas de Esperanza from Venezuela spent their ninth consecutive Idealist Day sharing desserts with people in their community and helping individuals in the Guaira region of Venezuela recover from the recent earthquake 🤝

Rachel in Birmingham, UK celebrated Idealist Day 7/7 with a virtual happy hour, where 10 people gathered online to talk about potential activations in the United Kingdom 🌐The group will also be gathering at the Jewellery Quarter Festival to showcase community, participate in a coffee roasting demo, and spend time with neighbors ☕
