Your time can make a meaningful difference in the life of a hospice patient and their family. As a hospice volunteer, you can provide companionship, conversation, comfort, and reassurance during an important chapter of life. Sometimes, simply being present and listening can help someone feel less alone.

Volunteers have the opportunity to support patients and families in a variety of ways, including:

• Patient Companionship – Spend time with patients through conversation, reading, music, games, or simply sitting together.
• Veteran-to-Veteran Support – Connect with fellow veterans through shared experiences, conversation, and companionship.
• Bereavement Support – Offer comfort and companionship to individuals and families as they navigate the grieving process.
• Office & Administrative Support – Help with light office tasks, greeting visitors, answering phones, organizing materials, and supporting our care team.

No experience is needed! Heart To Heart Hospice provides orientation and training to help you feel confident and prepared in your volunteer role.
