Last Saturday was National Homemade Soup Day! And while I love a good jambalaya as much as the next girl, there’s a lot more to celebrate.

Today, as continued celebration, we’re featuring seven organizations who aren’t just busy serving up food, pantry packages, and support services, they’re hiring, too!

Action Against Hunger USA, New York, NY

  1. Action Against Hunger directly delivers emergency aid and longer-term assistance to people suffering from the consequences of natural disaster or man-made crisis. They work to save lives by combatting hunger, disease, and crises.

Farm to Pantry, Healdsburg, CA

  1. Farm to Pantry was founded in response to a lack of available fresh produce for the most vulnerable members of the area surrounding Healdsburg, California. Farm to Pantry’s mission is to nourish those who are hungry or have limited access to nutritious produce.

NDG Food Depot, Montreal, QC, Canada

  1. The NDG Food Depot is a community-based nonprofit working to reduce the hardship of living in poverty by improving food security, increasing access to healthy food, alleviating social isolation, and providing public education.

Vermont Foodbank, Barre, VT:
