Who's Hiring? 10 Civil Rights Advocacy Organizations
Each January, the annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Day invites us to reflect on the incredible legacy of the civil rights icon and his contributions to the larger civil rights movement in the United States. With the recent passing of Dexter Scott King, MLK’s son who continued to shepherd his father’s vision, we at Idealist recognize the importance of honoring the work of activists who fought for a more free and just world.
Ensuring everyone, everywhere, can live a life free from discrimination is an ongoing effort that requires us to take action on issues of civil rights year round. That’s why we’re proud to work with nonprofits across the sector that are fully dedicated to this cause.
This month, we’ve rounded up job opportunities at 10 civil rights advocacy organizations. If you’re energized by the idea of breaking barriers, challenging injustice, and fostering a society where every person’s rights are protected, you may find your next great role below.
