Johnson County Library
Mission
The purpose of the Johnson County Library is to provide access to information and promote life long learning and growth for all ages. Volunteers are vital to the daily operation of all 14 of our locations, the Friends sort to sell facility, and across Johnson County. You can volunteer in an ongoing position for 2-3 hours per week and a minimum 6 month commitment or you can sign up to join us for one time events as your schedule allows - join us!
About Us
Our primary need includes materials management. Volunteers assist with pulling books that need to be transferred to other locations. In addition, they assist with sorting and shelving of materials. If you enjoy working with books, this is the job for you!
