    • User Account Assistance: Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process by helping provision Microsoft 365 accounts, setting up email, and assigning necessary licenses under supervision.
    • Asset & Inventory Tracking: Maintain the IT asset registry by tagging new devices, logging equipment assignments and conducting physical inventory checks of laptops and accessories.
    • Workstation Setup & Maintenance: Assist in preparing computers for new hires (imaging, installing software) and performing routine updates on desktops, laptops, and printers.
    • Documentation Support: Create and update internal "How-To" guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures to help staff use technology more effectively.
    • Cybersecurity Hygiene: Assist in enforcing security best practices by verifying that devices have active antivirus protection and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled.
    • Cloud Tools Assistance: Provide basic guidance to staff on using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint for file storage and communication.
    • Meeting & AV Support: Assist with setting up audio-visual equipment for internal meetings or presentations to ensure smooth operation.
    • Network Basics: Assist with basic connectivity troubleshooting (e.g., checking Wi-Fi connections, cabling) and escalating complex network issues to senior staff.
    • General Support: Shadow senior IT staff and perform other duties or special learning projects as assigned to support the department’s mission.

    Benefits

    Requirements:

    • Technical Background: Basic familiarity with using and troubleshooting Windows and macOS computers. Knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 is a plus.
    • Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to communicate effectively with all PSI staff.
    • Schedule: Part-time schedule flexible around university classes.
