SmallSpark
Mission
SmallSpark’s mission is to close the technology gap impacting low‑income families, seniors, underserved small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. After years in the IT field, our founders saw firsthand that many community‑serving organizations, family‑owned businesses, and vulnerable individuals lacked access to affordable, reliable technology support—creating barriers to education, economic opportunity, organizational stability, and digital participation.
We work to reduce digital inequity, strengthen nonprofits and small businesses, empower seniors and families, and create workforce pathways for emerging IT professionals. As a hybrid model of technology access, education, and community empowerment, SmallSpark ensures that historically excluded populations can fully participate in today’s digital world.
About Us
Who We Serve
SmallSpark focuses on communities and organizations that are historically excluded from mainstream technology access:
- Nonprofit organizations whose missions depend on stable, secure, and affordable tech infrastructure
- Underserved small businesses that need technology to grow but lack the resources for traditional IT services
- Seniors who want to stay connected, safe, and confident using modern tools
- Emerging IT professionals seeking hands‑on experience, mentorship, and pathways into the workforce
What We Value
Our work is grounded in a set of core values that guide every interaction and every service we provide:
- Equity — Technology should be a right, not a privilege
- Community — Solutions are strongest when built with the community, not for it
- Empowerment — We don’t just fix problems; we teach, train, and build confidence
- Accessibility — Services must be affordable, understandable, and culturally responsive
- Sustainability — Long‑term stability matters more than quick fixes
- Opportunity — We create pathways for the next generation of IT professionals
