    About Us

The NW Furniture Bank is the primary community resource for local agencies to assist clients with their furniture needs and offers a unique opportunity for our community to donate and volunteer.

NWFB works with local Tacoma/Pierce County agencies to provide a once in a lifetime gift of furniture to individuals and families in need. Clients are screened and referred by agency caseworkers, so furniture goes to those who are helping themselves reach self-sufficiency.

We serve victims of domestic abuse, people suffering loss from fire and natural disasters, foster homes and especially families coming from transitional housing who are trying to rebuild their lives.
