Biotech CEO Sisterhood
Mission
The Biotech CEO Sisterhood is a dynamic force for change, dedicated to empowering women in the C-suite and driving equitable representation at the highest levels of the biopharma industry.
We cultivate a vibrant community of women leaders, fostering a culture of mutual support, authenticity, and inclusivity. Through summits, events, and educational programs, we champion the advancement of women to the C-suite, address the unique challenges they face in these roles, and amplify their voices to shape the future of biotech. We actively engage allies to dismantle barriers and create a more diverse and inclusive industry where women hold positions of power and influence.
About Us
Core Values:
Empowerment: Providing women with the resources, support, and confidence to attain C-suite roles, secure funding for their ventures, and gain board positions. This includes mentorship, sponsorship, skills development, and advocacy for women in all aspects of biotech leadership.
Authenticity: Fostering a safe and encouraging environment where women can connect genuinely, share their experiences openly, and build trust, particularly around the challenges of fundraising and board participation.
Inclusivity: Building a community where women from all backgrounds and experiences feel welcome and supported, ensuring representation across all dimensions of diversity in leadership roles, boards, and investment opportunities.
Collaboration: Working together with allies, both within and outside the biopharma industry, to break down barriers and create a more equitable playing field for women in leadership, fundraising, and board participation. This involves partnering with organizations, engaging male leaders as sponsors and advocates, and fostering a culture of allyship.
Impact: Driving meaningful change in the biopharma industry by increasing the representation of women in the C-suite, on boards, and as recipients of funding. This means not only supporting individual women but also advocating for policies and practices that promote gender equity in all aspects of leadership.
