End The TTI is a fiscally sponsored nonprofit organization dedicated to dismantling the Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) — a loosely regulated system of residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness programs, and boot camps that too often subject young people to abuse, neglect, and trauma under the guise of “tough love” or behavioral reform.
Founded by survivors, advocates, and mental health professionals, End The TTI exists to shine a light on these harmful practices, support and empower survivors, and advocate for meaningful legislative reform.
We believe that every young person deserves safety, dignity, and compassion — and that no child should ever be harmed in the name of help.
