  • Mission

COS Reads is a nonprofit organization initially established to support the Save Rockrimmon Library campaign. We are dedicated to keeping all neighborhood libraries open and thriving. COS Reads advocates for equal library access, vibrant community spaces, and systemic reforms across the Pikes Peak Library District. We also created a small, community-run library, Reading at the Rock Library, to fill the gap left in our community as we continue to work toward the complete restoration of a PPLD library in northwest Colorado Springs.

    About Us

Born from the 2024 “Save Rockrimmon Library” grassroots campaign, Reading at the Rock Library is an all-volunteer initiative aimed at restoring library access to the northwest Colorado Springs community. Located at 950 Vindicator Rd, this interim library embodies the power of collective action and the enduring value of local libraries.
