Tigard Playschool’s preschool program is play-based and child-led with caring and experienced teachers. As a play-based preschool, our curriculum planning focuses on the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of the children in each class. We provide a developmentally appropriate environment and closely observe the children for interest and engagement. This allows teachers to extend learning and build upon the interests of their students. We believe children learn best from hands on play and authentic engagement with intelligent materials and their peers.
