Heroes' Anchor builds a nurturing community for children of military, first responder, and emergency medical families—offering faith-inclusive and transformative programs that strengthen hearts, homes, and futures. We believe that the anchor of every hero’s healing journey is deeply rooted in the heart of the family.
Heroes’ Anchor is a Texas-based, ranch-style retreat created to support the children of our nation’s heroes—those from military, veteran, first responder, and emergency medical families. These children carry the weight of deployments, long shifts, relocations, and the constant uncertainty that comes with a parent’s high-risk career.
At Heroes’ Anchor, they receive something rare: a peaceful place to heal, grow, and reconnect. Through equine therapy, art and music therapy, outdoor adventures, leadership workshops, and a safe, faith-inclusive community, children ages 10–16 are given the tools to build resilience and rediscover joy—at absolutely no cost to their families, including travel.
Because when you strengthen the child, you steady the hero. And at Heroes’ Anchor, we believe every hero’s healing begins in the heart of the family.
