United States of America Informatics Olympiad in Teams

The United States of America Informatics Olympiad in Teams (USIOT) inspires students nationwide to develop excellence in computer science, algorithmic problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation through team-based competition. We identify and prepare the strongest teams to represent the United States at the International Informatics Olympiad in Teams (IIOT) World Finals while building an inclusive community of future STEM leaders.

USIOT, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to high-level computer science and informatics opportunities for students across the United States. We organize team-based programming competitions that challenge students to develop skills in algorithms, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

Our community includes middle and high school students with a wide range of competitive programming experience, from students participating in their first informatics competition to advanced competitors representing the United States internationally. USIOT emphasizes teamwork, academic integrity, accessibility, innovation, and educational growth.

Through online qualifying rounds, national-level competition, educational resources, and outreach, we aim to make competitive informatics more accessible to students regardless of geography or school resources. USIOT also selects and prepares Team USA to compete at the International Informatics Olympiad in Teams (IIOT) World Finals, connecting American students with an international community of young programmers and problem-solvers.
