WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV (WBEC NY DMV) is two regional affiliates of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s premier third- party certification organization for women-owned businesses. WBEC NY DMV implements WBENC’s certification standards and procedures to provide full service, third-party certification to women entrepreneurs in the New York area. WBEC Metro NY also hosts educational programs to promote business development and provides women entrepreneurs and corporate members with mutual access and advocates for increased contracting opportunities for women in business.
