Making Waves commits to rigorously and holistically preparing students to gain acceptance to and graduate from college to ultimately become valuable contributors to the workforce and their communities.

Making Waves Academy is a public charter school located in Richmond, California. We serve students in grades 5-12 and focus on addressing the disparity in educational opportunity that exists between suburban and urban youths. We strive to rigorously and holistically prepare our scholars to gain acceptance to and graduate from college in order to ultimately become valuable contributors to the workforce and their communities.
