Pete & Andy's Food Pantry

Pete & Andy’s Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of St. Peter’s & St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Providence, RI. Our church has been providing groceries to our community since 1970. In 2009 we became an official agency of the RI Food Bank and provided groceries to about 40 families twice a month. Once the Covid-19 Pandemic began, the Food Bank asked if we would consider opening every week to help combat the high level of food insecurity, especially among minority populations. Despite being a tiny parish with less than 30 members, we said yes. Now, with the help of dozens of volunteers, Pete & Andy’s Food Pantry proudly serves between 175 - 225 families each week. In 2024 we distributed over 188 tons of food to our community. Come join us!
