  • Mission

Our mission is to highlight and celebrate Black contributions and innovation while fostering meaningful connections and understanding among all people. Through various forms of art; exhibitions, performances, and creative education, we use art as a bridge to inspire dialogue, unity, and appreciation for the diverse cultures that shape our shared community.

    About Us

Rooted in San Francisco’s Black cultural legacy, Honey Art Studio values equity, beauty, pride in self and community, and connection to history and culture. We believe the city’s historically African American neighborhoods—the Fillmore and Bayview/Hunters Point—should visibly reflect and celebrate their rich heritage through public art, exhibitions, and creative expression.

Our in-studio classes, exhibitions, live performances, and mobile public art projects invite people of all backgrounds to connect, learn, and appreciate the depth and beauty of Black culture. Honey Art Studio acknowledges the creativity, resilience, ingenuity, and faith of Black people, using art as a vehicle to uplift, educate, and unify the community.
