Perfectly Paired Pitties

Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3) is an entirely volunteer-run, 501c3 nonprofit organization that works to rescue, foster, and place pit bull type dogs at risk for euthanasia in loving homes, and to combat the negative stigma associated with pit bull type breeds. In particular, P3 aims to train and match rescue blockheads to provide emotional support to military veterans, many of whom struggle with PTSD, anxiety, or depression - though we work to find every one of our dogs their perfect forever home.

At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), a woman and veteran-founded, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are driven by a singular mission: to rescue and champion Pit Bull type dogs from overcrowded shelters, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. We are appalled by the tragic numbers of these loyal dogs euthanized unnecessarily daily and believe no pittie should be left behind.

Simultaneously, we are dedicated to supporting our nation's veterans. We are actively developing a program to train rescued Pitties to become invaluable emotional support animals for veterans struggling with PTSD, offering comfort, nightmare alerts, and pressure therapy to help reduce the devastating risk of suicide.

While our commitment to veterans is profound, our ultimate goal is to ensure every rescued pittie finds their perfect family, enriching lives and proving that these incredible dogs are deserving of love and respect. We are a united rescue effort based on love of pitties, and support and respect for our veterans.

P3 is active in the mid-east region, working mainly in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.
