Lead UX/UI Designer: User Experience Strategy & Digital Product Design
Project Description
Army Pink is seeking an experienced UX/UI designer to help design a unique digital experience from concept through final design.
The goal of this project is to create an intuitive, engaging, and user-centered web experience by developing the overall structure, user journey, interface design, and visual system. The ideal volunteer will be able to translate complex user needs into a simple, accessible, and thoughtful digital experience.
The designer will collaborate with our team to develop the experience strategy and create high-quality designs that can be implemented by developers.
Key Deliverables
- Develop user journey maps and experience flows
- Create information architecture and page structures
- Design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
- Create polished UI designs and reusable design components
- Provide organized Figma files and design specifications for development
- Collaborate with the team to refine the experience based on user needs and project goals
Required Qualifications
- Must have professional UX/UI design experience
- Must have experience designing websites, web applications, or digital products
- Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional user experience and interface design work
- Advanced proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of user flows, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing complex digital experiences with multiple user pathways
- Experience creating accessible, user-centered experiences
- Experience with nonprofit, healthcare, education, or social impact projects is a plus
