    Chief Administrative Officer Intern

    (Academy Participant – Educational Leadership Opportunity)

    Location:100% Remote

    Program: Apex Talent Initiative Academy

    Shift: (9:00am-1:00pm EST)

    Position Summary

    The Chief Administrative Officer Intern is a senior-level educational leadership opportunity within the Apex Talent Initiative Academy. This role provides high-potential Academy participants with hands-on experience in organizational leadership, operations management, and executive support.

    You will gain real-world exposure to running the administrative backbone of a growing nonprofit while working directly under the CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking advanced administrative, operational, and leadership experience.

    Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities

    • Assist in overseeing the daily administrative operations of the organization
    • Support the coordination and supervision of Admin Officers
    • Help develop and maintain organizational processes, workflows, and SOPs
    • Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and executive calendar management for the CEO
    • Support onboarding coordination between HR and department leaders
    • Help manage internal communications, including the All-Apex Newsletter
    • Participate in special projects involving school/college partnerships and business client onboarding
    • Track and support academic credit documentation for qualifying interns
    • Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and executive documentation
    • Help ensure smooth cross-departmental collaboration and information flow
    • Attend leadership meetings and provide administrative support as needed

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college (preferred)
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Professional demeanor and strong written/verbal communication
    • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
    • Passion for nonprofit work, workforce development, and operational excellence
    • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

    Commitment:
