    Position Overview

    The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities, ensuring tasks, processes, and workflows are organized, tracked, and executed effectively.

    This role focuses on coordination, communication, and follow-through—ensuring that projects move forward and operational processes run smoothly.

    Operating at the intersection of execution, organization, and cross-functional coordination, this role is critical to maintaining efficiency and consistency across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Task & Workflow Coordination
      • Track and manage tasks across teams
      • Ensure assignments are clearly defined and followed through
      • Support workflow organization
    1. Operational Support
      • Assist with day-to-day operations
      • Support execution of projects and initiatives
      • Ensure operational processes are running smoothly
    1. Scheduling & Coordination
      • Coordinate meetings, timelines, and deliverables
      • Ensure alignment across team schedules
      • Support calendar and activity management
    1. Communication & Follow-Up
      • Facilitate communication between teams
      • Follow up on tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
      • Ensure accountability and clarity
    1. Documentation & Tracking
      • Maintain trackers for:
      • Tasks
      • Projects
      • Operational workflows
      • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records
    1. Process Support & Consistency
      • Follow established operational processes
      • Support process consistency across teams
      • Identify gaps or inefficiencies
    1. Cross-Functional Coordination
      • Work with:
      • Operations team
      • Programs
      • Marketing
      • Technology teams
      • Ensure alignment and coordination
    1. Problem Identification
      • Identify operational issues or delays
      • Escalate concerns as needed
      • Support resolution of challenges
    1. Data & Reporting Support
      • Assist with basic reporting and tracking
      • Provide updates on task and project status
      • Support operational visibility
    1. Organization & File Management
      • Maintain organized documentation and files
      • Ensure accessibility of information
    1. Flexibility & Support
      • Provide support across multiple operational needs
      • Adapt to changing priorities
    1. Continuous Improvement
      • Identify opportunities to improve workflows
      • Support process improvements
      • Enhance operational efficiency

    Volunteer Commitment Expectations

      • Estimated Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
      • Flexible schedule
      • Participation in operations meetings required
      • Fully remote

    Minimum Qualifications

      • 1–3 years of experience in:
      • Operations support
      • Administrative coordination
      • Project coordination
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks

    Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience with:
      • Task tracking tools (e.g., Google Sheets, project management tools)
      • Experience in nonprofit or remote environments
