D House of Angels provides safe, temporary housing, essential resources, and compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals impacted by domestic violence, empowering them to heal, reclaim independence, and rebuild lives free from abuse.

D House of Angels is a compassionate, community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and families in crisis throughout Oakland and Wayne Counties. Guided by the values of compassion, empowerment, safety, dignity, and advocacy, our mission is to provide a pathway to healing and stability for those escaping abuse.

We serve women, children, and families who are experiencing homelessness or domestic violence by offering temporary housing, food, clothing, transportation, mental health support, and access to essential community resources. Each family receives individualized care through case management and trauma-informed support designed to rebuild confidence and independence.

Our programs—such as emergency hotel placements, community giveaways, financial literacy workshops, and trauma prevention initiatives—reflect our commitment to addressing both immediate and long-term needs.
