Who We Are

Semillas Life is a grassroots NGO based in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Codo del Pozuzo, Peru. We operate at the intersection of environmental conservation and social empowerment. Our unique location—a vibrant cultural melting pot of Austro-German heritage and Amazonian tradition—provides the backdrop for our mission to create a sustainable future for the Pachitea River basin.

What We Do

We believe that the most effective way to combat deforestation and illegal gold mining/logging is through education. Our core projects focus on:

• Environmental Literacy: Teaching local youth and the community about biodiversity, waste management, and regenerative practices.
• Cultural & Language Exchange: Providing English and German language education to open global doors for local residents while preserving their unique cultural history.
• Creative Storytelling: Developing educational resources, such as our "Book Series," which teaches children about global culture, world history, kindness, and planetary care through professional illustration and design.
