Penn Medicine At Home Hospice
Mission
Hospice volunteers play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team. They provide vital support to our patients and their families in various ways, such as offering caregiver relief, assisting in the office, and helping families who are grieving. We offer all the tools and resources necessary for you to make a meaningful impact.
We invite you to consider joining our team!
About Us
Our holistic philosophy takes a proactive approach to pain and symptom management, recognizing that pain extends beyond the physical. We address not only the symptoms of each patient's illness but also the emotional and spiritual concerns of the patient, caregiver, and family. Our goal is to assist patients and their loved ones in navigating the challenges that accompany death and dying.
Hospice care empowers patients to take control of their lives and treatment. It encourages them to actively participate in important medical and legal decisions that affect themselves and those around them. Our multidisciplinary hospice team offers a wide range of care and support, allowing patients to live their final months comfortably, with control, dignity, and respect.
