Extreme Kids and Crew

  • Mission

At Extreme Kids & Crew, we create fun and brave spaces that nurture a sense of belonging and community for neurodivergent youth. Through our programs for young people, caregivers, and families, we work to cultivate environments that allow neurodivergent children and their Crew to find their own meaning in play.

Our community is made up of:

    • K-12 schools
    • Arts organizations
    • Museums
    • And more!
    • Young people with disabilities
    • Parents and caregivers
    • Siblings
    • Families

    Our Vision

Establish equitable access to spaces for play for all NYC-based school-aged, neurodivergent youth – resulting in fun and brave spaces that cultivate belonging and community.

    About Us

    Our 3-Year Vision

    1. Become the number one play-based programming provider of choice for NYC elementary educational institutions serving at least 50% of their young and disabled constituents.
    2. Deliver sustainable programming focused on creating spaces for play, family experiences, and mentorship support.
    3. Expand our community presence and accessibility through strategic partnerships with NYC-based youth-focused institutions – such as children’s museums and libraries.

Extreme Kids & Crew believes that every child has the right to play and make art as it holds meaning to them, that every family has the right to accurate information and supports, and that every employee has the right to a workplace that embraces a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
